Terms
Last updated 1 October 2026
By using Ajo Buddy you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
What Ajo Buddy is
Ajo Buddy is a record-keeping tool for ajo, esusu and other savings groups. It records what you enter. It does not hold, move or guarantee money. All money is collected and paid out by the people running the group, outside Ajo Buddy.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Only add people to a ledger if they should see and change it.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your records
- You own what you enter. You are responsible for it being accurate.
- Only add a member's details if you have their agreement, and share statement links only with the member they belong to.
- Download a backup from time to time. We work hard to keep your data safe, but you should keep your own copy.
Fair use
Don't use Ajo Buddy to break the law, to mislead group members, or to try to access ledgers that aren't yours. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability
We aim to keep Ajo Buddy running at all times, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable or free of mistakes. It is provided as it is.
Responsibility
Ajo Buddy is not responsible for disputes between group members, for money that is lost, late or unpaid, or for decisions made using the records. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.
Ending
You can stop using Ajo Buddy at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may change these terms; if a change matters, we will update the date at the top of this page.
